Amelia Huckabee M.ed.

Amelia Huckabee, M.Ed., SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources and administration. Amelia served as the Chief Human Resources Officer at Kedren Community Health Center, Inc., where they provided strategic guidance and managed various functions related to HR, payroll, transportation, engineering, facilities, and security. Amelia successfully negotiated health and welfare plans, resulting in cost savings for the organization. Prior to that, Amelia worked as an Independent Consultant, providing consulting services and expertise in HR decision-making, procedures, and programs. Amelia also held leadership roles at Par Pharmaceutical, Orange County Transportation Authority, Teva Parenteral Medicines, AQUA MIX, and ACCO Brands, where they managed HR departments, implemented HR initiatives, and oversaw administrative functions. Additionally, Amelia served as the Director of HR at Revo Sunglasses, where they revised company policies, implemented diversity programs, and managed workplace incidents. Amelia holds a Master's degree in Education and is certified as a Senior Certified Professional by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-SCP).

Amelia Huckabee, M.Ed., SHRM-SCP, has a strong education background in the field of Education and Counseling. Amelia obtained their Master of Arts degree in Education from California State University-Dominguez Hills, where they attended from 1984 to 1987. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy at UCLA, where they studied from 1978 to 1982.

In addition to their formal education, Amelia has obtained several certifications throughout their career. Amelia is a SHRM - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), both obtained in August 2020 from the Society of Human Resources Management and SHRM, respectively.
