Ferdinando Borgese has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Ferdinando started their career as a Sales Representative for the metabolic and cardiovascular portfolio at Guidotti by Menarini Group in 2001. In 2002, they transitioned to become a Cardiovascular Brand Manager within the same company. In 2005, Borgese joined GSK as a Senior Brand Manager for the metabolic and cardiovascular portfolio. In 2007, they moved to Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, where they served as a Global Brand Manager. During their time there, they were responsible for managing the Human Rabies vaccine and Tick Borne Encephalitis vaccine. Borgese also collaborated with various organizations to develop disease eradication strategies. In 2011, they joined AstraZeneca as a Brand Leader for Crestor. In 2012, Borgese became the International Marketing Director at Kedrion Biopharma. Ferdinando gradually progressed within the company, taking on roles such as Head of Global Marketing, Head of Global Marketing and Commercial Operation Asia, Director of Commercial Operations Asia, Middle East and Africa, and Commercial Director Intercontinental. Since 2023, Borgese has been serving as the Vice President, Commercial Intercontinental Region, ICM / Toll Manufacturing at Kedrion Biopharma. Additionally, they hold the position of Chairman of the EU Board at the Plasma Protein Therapeutics Association (PPTA).
