Matthew Smith has a diverse work experience in the field of Information Technology. Matthew started their career in 2007 as the founder of Independent Technologies, where they maintained workstations and personal networks for small businesses. Matthew also designed and implemented websites for clients and provided round-the-clock tech support.
In 2012, Matthew worked as a Network and Systems Consultant at All Metro Healthcare, where they designed and managed the network for a corporation with multiple branches. Matthew ensured the integrity of server backups and maintained email and web firewalls.
From 2013 to 2018, Matthew served as an IT Systems Analyst at Sherrill, Inc. DBA SherrillTree, overseeing the company-wide infrastructure and ensuring its smooth operation. Matthew joined Progressive Consulting as an IT On-Site Technician on a contract basis, where they streamlined client management and provided technical assistance to various clients.
Since 2018, Matthew has been working at The Budd Group as an Information Technology Manager/ETL Architect. Matthew was initially hired as a Netsuite Administrator and in-house Developer but was soon granted control of the IT Department. Matthew'sresponsibilities include budgetary planning, help-desk oversight, project planning, new system rollout, and system integration using in-house coding and ETL integration.
Matthew's current position is Lead Enterprise ETL Developer at Keeco, LLC, where they started in 2023.
Matthew Smith attended Briarcliffe College from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (A.S.) degree in Network Technology and Applied Sciences.
