M. Talha Umair

M. Talha Umair has a diverse range of work experience. M. Talha started their career as a Software Engineer at Xper2go Inc. in 2007 and then moved on to work as a Software Engineer at Hamdard in 2007-2008. M. Talha then joined Wavetec Pvt. Ltd. in 2008 as a Software Engineer. After that, they worked as a Sr. Product Engineer at United Bank Limited from 2010 to 2013. At United Bank Limited, they were responsible for developing and maintaining the core Backend server, internet and mobile front-ends of the Omni system. M. Talha also participated in continuous process refinement and improvement.

In 2013, M. Talha Umair joined Keenu as a Team Lead for Mobile App Development. In this role, they led a team of mobile engineers and was accountable for the growth and development of the team. M. Talha also played a key part in making architectural and strategic decisions for the mobile platform. M. Talha later became the Head of Engineering at Keenu in 2017. In this position, they were responsible for heading the Software Development and Software Quality Assurance processes. M. Talha implemented product-based SDLC processes and ensured compliance with industry norms. M. Talha also planned, executed, managed, and reported activities for different software development processes. M. Talha coordinated with team leads and engineers to address any issues and problems.

M. Talha Umair completed a Master's degree in Software Engineering from the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Karachi University from 2003 to 2006.
