Marquita Goodluck

Marquita Goodluck has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Marquita is currently working as the Give Back Grant Program Manager at The Keep A Breast Foundation since March 2023. Prior to this, they owned and managed their own e-commerce business, Marquita Goodluck Organic Skincare, from September 2020. In 2019, they worked as a Writing Instructor on Udemy, providing quality instruction to adult students on writing and publishing books. Marquita is also a published author since August 2013 and has been a freelance writer since then. From February 2016 to August 2020, they were the Blogger & Founder of DC KID APPROVED, a family blog focused on providing tips and inspirations to families in the DC area. Marquita also worked as an E-commerce Advisor at WE MIX DRINKS LLC from May 2014 to August 2020, where they developed and managed internet marketing programs. From May 2011 to August 2018, Marquita served as the Digital Marketing Strategist and Founder of The Pretty Brown Bride, a professional wedding blog and advertising platform for local vendors. Throughout their career, Marquita has demonstrated their abilities in marketing, writing, and entrepreneurship.

Marquita Goodluck has a diverse education history. Marquita first attended Morgan State University from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Political Science & International Relations. Afterward, they pursued a Paralegal Certificate from Georgetown University, attending from 2006 to 2007. Following their paralegal studies, Marquita went on to earn a Master's Degree in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2014 to 2016. Lastly, in 2020 to 2021, they attended the Maryland University of Integrative Health, where they completed a post-baccalaureate certificate in Cannabis Science.
