Marc Roos has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Marc is currently the Head of Digital (a.i.) at Keesing Media Group B.V., where they are responsible for digital growth and leading the organization's digital transformation. Prior to this, Marc founded MR|Transulting, a consulting company focused on helping companies grow, scale, and transform. Marc has worked with organizations such as GoodUp/Rubio Impact Ventures, Degezondestad.org, and Keesing Media Group on growth strategies, business development, and transformation.
Marc also served as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at funda, a real estate platform, where they led sales, marketing, communications, and customer success teams. During their tenure, they executed a revised strategy to drive growth and transform the company into a data-driven and customer-centric organization.
Before funda, Marc was a board member at 1%Club, a crowdfunding platform for social initiatives. Marc has also held leadership positions at Improve Digital, where they served as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), and imgZine, where they were the Chief Operational Officer (COO). In these roles, they managed daily operations, facilitated expansion, and structured the organizations for growth.
Marc has a background in media and publishing, having worked at TMG (Telegraaf Media Groep) in various roles. Marc was the Managing Director of Digital Portals TMG Landelijke Media and held positions such as CEO of Basismedia and Commercial Director of De Telegraaf National Accounts. Additionally, they gained experience in business development as the Head of Business Development Sweden at Svensk Special Press/TTG Sverige.
Earlier in their career, Marc served as the Marketing Manager at TTG. Marc has a strong track record of driving growth, leading organizations through periods of transformation, and implementing customer-centric strategies.
Marc Roos has a history of pursuing education to further their professional development. In 2005, they attended SIMI in Kopenhagen, where they completed a one-year Executive Development Program that focused on digital transformation. Marc then attended Nyenrode Business University in 2002 and 2003 to participate in a Young Management Program. Lastly, from 1988 to 1992, they studied at Zuyd Hogeschool, also known as Zuyd University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a degree in HEAO.
