Paul Erik Frivold is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in robotics and autonomous systems. Currently serving as the Engineering Director for European Operations at KEF Robotics since August 2020, Frivold previously led the Autonomous Drone Racing Group at Ascend NTNU, where the team aimed to qualify for the AlphaPilot competition. Notably, Frivold contributed to the AlphaPilot project, achieving a commendable 10th place out of 425 teams. Additional experience includes internships at Vake and Uninett, where Frivold focused on machine learning and internet reliability analysis, respectively. Frivold has also worked on trajectory planning and software development for autonomous racing vehicles with Revolve NTNU. The educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Informatics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, completed in 2020.
