Alok Gupta

Alok Gupta is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private equity and investment management. Currently serving as Partner and Head of India at Foundation Private Equity since December 2017, Alok specializes in partnering with investors in Asian private equity to recalibrate funds and portfolios through bespoke secondary solutions. Prior to this role, Alok was a Managing Director and Partner at Headland Capital Partners, where responsibilities included advising on the India portfolio post the management buyout of HSBC Private Equity Asia. Alok's earlier positions include Director and Head of Venture Investment at HSBC Private Equity, Country Head for Life Sciences & Technology at YES BANK, Director & Head of Lifesciences at Rabo India Finance, and Sr. Manager in Global Structured Finance at ANZ Investment Bank. Alok holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, and a degree from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. Alok's education journey began at Bishop Cottons Boys School.
