Gail Horwood

Chief Marketing Officer, North America at Kellanova

Gail Horwood is the Chief Marketing Officer, North America at Kellogg Company. Gail has held this position since January 2017.

Prior to their current role, Ms. Horwood was the VP, Worldwide Digital Strategy at Johnson & Johnson Consumer Companies from September 2010 to January 2017. In this role, they were responsible for Global Digital Strategy and Marketing Operations and recruited a team of 45+ subject matter experts. Gail also established the Regional Digital Council Network.

Ms. Horwood has extensive experience in digital media, e-commerce, analytics, CRM, mobile, social media, and VOC. Gail launched the first-ever digital benchmarking survey and developed an online learning platform and curriculum for eight subject areas. In addition, they partnered with I/T, Procurement, Regulatory and Finance to define and launch a global digital development and delivery process.

Ms. Horwood also led the first-ever global brand social program supporting Listerine’s FIFA World Cup Sponsorship. The program included a real-time news and content creation operation covering 19 markets and five languages.

Ms. Horwood has a proven track record of working closely with cross-functional teams including brand marketing, I/T, Finance, Legal, Business Development and Sales Strategy.

Gail Horwood's educational career began at Scarsdale High School. Gail then went on to study at Colby College, where they earned a BA in Art Gail'story. Finally, they attended the Institute for Real Growth, where they specialized in art history.

Gail Horwood reports to Chris Hood, President, Kellogg North America.
