Hugh Murphy

Hugh Murphy currently serves as Legal Director for Brands & Privacy at Kellanova since February 2022, following previous roles including In-House Legal Counsel and Data Protection Officer at Lidl Ireland from June 2017 to February 2022. Hugh has a strong background as a Barrister-at-Law with The Bar of Ireland from October 2012 to June 2017, specializing in commercial law, civil litigation, data protection, judicial review, immigration, and employment law. Additionally, Hugh contributed as an Advisor to the Convention on the Constitution within the Department of An Taoseach from October 2012 to January 2014 and has held various positions in the financial and legal sectors, including a Credit Analyst role at IBM and an internship at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
