Monjur Hossen

Monjur Hossen is an experienced food scientist with a strong background in product development and innovation within the food industry. Currently serving as a Senior Food Designer at Kellanova since October 2023, Monjur previously held significant roles at the Kellogg Company, including Senior Food Designer for MorningStar FARMS and INCOGMEATO, where Monjur was instrumental in designing plant-based protein products and developing technology for plant protein-based solutions. Other noteworthy positions include Principal Product Development Scientist focused on global innovation and nutrition, and Senior Product Development Scientist in the Global Snacks Pipeline. Monjur's earlier career includes a tenure at Mead Johnson Nutritionals, where development of complete nutrition products for infants was a primary focus, and at Nestle, where involvement in market-specific product development and processing line establishment was pivotal. Monjur holds a Ph.D. in Food Science and Technology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Engineering in Bioprocess Technology from the Asian Institute of Technology.
