James Votaw

James Votaw is a partner at Keller and Heckman LLP, specializing in environmental, chemical, and product regulation since March 2017. Prior to this role, James served as a partner and counsel at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP from July 2011 to March 2017, and as counsel at Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr LLP from February 1998 to July 2011. James began their legal career as an associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP from 1989 to December 1997. Academically, James earned a Juris Doctor degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law (1986-1989) and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History from Dickinson College (1983-1986).
