Laura Riposo

Laura Riposo is currently a Partner at Kelley Drye & Warren. Prior to this, Laura served as the Assistant Vice President - Senior Legal Counsel at AT&T from September 2019 to August 2021. Laura's practice included counseling diverse business clients on consumer protection risks, developing and executing strategies in response to regulatory inquiries, and participating in policy initiatives within the company and across industry. Laura also served as a Lecturer at the University of Virginia School of Law from September 2019 to December 2019.

From August 2010 to August 2019, Laura was the Assistant Director of the Division of Privacy and Identity Protection at the Federal Trade Commission. In this role, Laura supervised enforcement and policy initiatives related to data security, consumer privacy, and identity protection.

Laura began their legal career as a Litigation Associate at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP from September 2002 to July 2010. Laura then served as the Chief of Staff for Majority Leader Michael J. Bragman at the New York State Assembly from August 1995 to July 1999. Laura's final role in government was as the Legislative Director for Senator Catherine M. Abate at the New York State Senate from January 1995 to August 1995.

Laura Riposo has a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law and a degree from Binghamton University.
