Irene De Álvaro has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Irene began their career at Citibank, where they worked as a Financial Analyst. During their time there, they prepared and analyzed sales reports, monitored product launches, and managed incentive programs for branch employees. Irene later joined Acciona as a Controller, where they analyzed and controlled the financial performance of operational concessions, both nationally and internationally. After that, they founded and served as the CEO of DAISUKI, a wholesale group specializing in the distribution of Japanese and Asian food products. At DAISUKI, they managed a large customer base, numerous product references, and international sourcing. Currently, Irene is Head of Supply Chain at KellyDeli, a leading European full-service sushi bar management company. In their role, they oversee the supply chain operations and has previously held the position of Group Head of Purchasing.

Irene De Álvaro's education history begins in 1999 when they attended CUNEF and obtained a degree in Empresariales with a focus on Finance. Irene then pursued further education in 2009 at IESE Business School, where they earned an Executive MBA. In 2017, Irene enrolled in the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to complete an online Micromaster program in Supply Chain & Logistics Fundamentals, with a field of study in Gestiόn y supervisiόn de operaciones.

In addition to their formal education, Irene has obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed the Supply Chain Fundamentals certification from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. In 2020, Irene completed the Leading Effectively certification from LinkedIn, and in 2022, they obtained the Business Presentation Skills Training certification from SecondNature International.
