Maxime Penning

Maxime Penning is an experienced operations manager currently working at Kelp Blue, where responsibilities include overseeing the planting of kelp forests and harvesting for sustainable products. Previously, Maxime served as a technology specialist in the Performance Excellence team at FrieslandCampina, focusing on infant formulation ingredients. An intern at Royal HaskoningDHV, Maxime worked on parametric design for wastewater treatment plants and contributed to a multidisciplinary consultancy project on cruise port feasibility at SUNECON. Maxime's earlier experience includes a graduate internship in development and innovation at The HEINEKEN Company and organizing the introduction week for first-year students at Delft University of Technology. Maxime holds a Master of Science in Biochemical Engineering and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Life Science and Technology from Delft University of Technology and Leiden University, with additional studies in Chemistry and Biomedical Engineering.
