Muhammad Umer Awan

Muhammad Umer Awan, MD, FACC, is an accomplished cardiologist currently affiliated with Kelsey-Seybold Clinic since February 2024. A longstanding member of prestigious organizations such as The American Society of Echocardiography, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, and American College of Cardiology, professional involvement dates back to 2016 and 2017. Previous experience includes serving as an adjunct assistant professor at University of Iowa Health Care from October 2020 to January 2024 and as a cardiologist at The Iowa Clinic from July 2019 to January 2024. Training completed included a cardiovascular disease fellowship at University of South Alabama Health and a chief residency at Seton Hall University.
