Monica Patel is an experienced Associate and Trainee Patent Attorney at Keltie since March 2016. Prior to this role, Monica served as a Research Associate in Computational Modelling at Imperial College London, collaborating with BP and the University of Manchester, and presenting research findings to project managers and scientific experts. Monica completed a PhD in Chemistry with a focus on Computational Materials Science, awarded an EPSRC-funded interdisciplinary scholarship, and contributed to open-source software for solid-state physics problems. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate School Teaching Assistant and a Summer School Tutor at Imperial College London, as well as research placements at Imperial College and Novartis, where innovative techniques in chromatography were developed. Monica holds an MRes with Merit from Imperial College London and a BSc Hons in Chemistry from the University of Warwick.
