Akash Rao

Akash Rao is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in fintech, digital media, and game development. Currently serving as Co-Founder and CTO at Kema since 2022, Akash was previously the Chief Technology Officer and Head of Product at Spotii.me, a payments platform focused on enabling interest-free shopping experiences. Akash’s career includes roles such as AVP of Digital at Mashreq Bank and a brief stint as an MBA Intern at Google, where strategic insights were provided to enhance YouTube's business in the MENA region. As CTO of GameChange Solutions, Akash successfully built the engineering team and spearheaded the development of multiple products, including the BitNudge platform. Early career achievements include founding HueSphere Games, contributing to Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean" game, and working on Samsung's Shader IDE software. Akash holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
