Mats Berg

Mats Berg has over 20 years of work experience in the paper industry. Mats started their career at WR Grace in 1993 as a Sales Engineer and eventually became the Manager of Paper Applications Europe, overseeing the Paper Applications Laboratory and leading product development projects. In 1996, they joined Betz PaperChem as an Application Manager, specializing in deposit control. In 1999, they moved to M-real Publishing papers, where they held various roles including Product Development Manager, Technical Customer Service Manager, and Technical Marketing Manager. During their time at M-real Publishing papers, they served as a troubleshooter for paper runnability and printability issues and acted as a link between the paper mill and global sales network. In 2007, Berg joined Kemira as a Business Development Manager, initiating a customer segment approach and generating printing and writing customer segment strategy and offerings. Mats was later promoted to Director of Business Development and focused on the paper industry. Overall, Berg's work experience showcases their expertise in business development, technical marketing, product development, and customer service within the paper industry.

Mats Berg attended Åbo Akademi University from 1987 to 1993, where they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering.
