Werner Fuhrmann

Werner Fuhrmann is an experienced executive with a strong focus on the chemical industry. Currently, Fuhrmann serves as a Member of the Supervisory Board for Evonik and Kemira, and as a Strategic Partner at ORAXYS Sustainable Private Equity. Additionally, Fuhrmann holds the position of Industrial Advisor at EQT Group and is a Member of the Supervisory Board at Ten Brinke. Previously, Fuhrmann served as CEO of AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals, playing a crucial role in the company's split from AkzoNobel, and held various senior roles within AkzoNobel over nearly four decades. Fuhrmann has also been involved with the European Chemicals Association (Cefic) and the American Chemicals Association as a board member. Fuhrmann possesses a Diplom Volkswirt degree from Mainz University.
