Karen Thure

Karen Thure is an experienced communications and marketing professional currently serving as Communications and Marketing Manager at Kemp & Lauritzen A/S since May 2018. Prior to this role, Karen held various significant positions, including Press Chief and Press Advisor at Dansk Energi from November 2014 to May 2017, and Special Advisor for Mette Frederiksen at the Ministry of Employment from January 2012 to November 2014. Karen's career began as a Press and Communications Advisor for the Social Democrats from June 2009 to January 2012, following a role as a Student Assistant for Helle Thorning-Schmidt at Christiansborg from February 2008 to November 2009. Karen holds a Master’s degree in Communication (Cand.comm.) and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies with a focus on Public Relations, both obtained from Roskilde University, with studies completed in 2010 and 2007, respectively.
