Ashfaq Hussain

Ashfaq Hussain is an experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in software engineering and team leadership. Currently at Kemper since February 2023, Ashfaq previously held the position of Senior Manager for Software Engineering at Capital One, where responsibilities included managing Agile teams, developing Java API services, and leading key system migrations. Prior experience includes Managing Application Services at OCC, overseeing project teams focused on risk management and system upgrades, and serving as Director of Software Engineering at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, where Ashfaq managed projects related to pricing and settlement systems. Ashfaq holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, obtained between 1992 and 1997.
