John Palmer

John Palmer, CFA, CAIA, CIPM has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. John is currently the Director of Investments Strategic Planning at Kemper since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Vice President at Northern Trust Corporation starting from May 2020. Before that, they were employed at EARNEST Partners where they held the roles of Deputy Chief Operating Officer from August 2016 onwards and Product Management from February 2013 to August 2016. John also served as the Director of Operations at The University of Akron from 2010 to 2012 and as an Assistant Manager at the University of Notre Dame from February 2008 to February 2010. John started their career as a Sales Consultant at New York Life Investment Management from May 2007 to February 2008 and as a Trading Assistant at the New York Board of Trade from August 2006 to May 2007.

John Palmer, CFA, CAIA, CIPM holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Emory University - Goizueta Business School, which they obtained in 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance at the University of Notre Dame in 2005.
