Robert Rice

Robert (Bob) Rice has an extensive work history in the field of internal audit. Robert (Bob) worked as the Vice President of Internal Audit at Kemper from June 2019 to November 2019 and again from August 2020 to March 2021. In these roles, they managed a team of auditors, delivered enterprise-wide SOX control testing and audit plans, and developed a 2020 audit plan through meetings with senior leaders. Prior to their time at Kemper, Bob served as the VP of Internal Audit at CNA Insurance Company Limited from April 2006 to February 2019, where they managed a team of auditors, developed annual audit plans, and presented audit results to multiple audit committees. Before that, they worked as the Assistant Vice President of Information Technology (IT) Audit at CNA Insurance from April 2004 to April 2006, where they managed a team of IT auditors and presented audit results to senior management.

Robert (Bob) Rice earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Sociology from Dominican University, completing their studies between 1985 and 1992. Robert (Bob) also holds a Masters of Business Administration from the same institution. Bob has acquired several additional certifications throughout their career, including Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer™ (CDPSE™) from ISACA in 2020, Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) from DRI International in 2009, and Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) from ISACA in 2000. Additionally, they became a RIMS Professional Member in June 2022, affiliated with RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.).
