Gene Leon joined the KemperSports family in December 2022 as Senior Vice President of New Business Development. In this role, Gene leads the business development team and drives efforts to expand roster of daily-fee courses, private clubs, resort destinations and management services.
He owns nearly 20 years of golf industry experience and six years of experience in facility services, all of which focused on new business development and sales. Gene has successfully secured long-term management agreements with some of the most prestigious golf courses and resorts in North America, as well as with Fortune 500 companies across the globe.
Gene joins KemperSports from ISS Facility Services, where he was a Group Vice President. Prior to that, he held Vice President of Business Development roles with Sodexo, BrightView Golf, American Golf Corp and ClubCorp. Throughout his career, he has been responsible for successfully developing proactive business development strategies to acquire profitable business and retain happy clients.
