Carlo Cecchi

Carlo Cecchi currently serves as the Director of New Markets at Kempower, a position held since January 2024. Prior to this role, Carlo was the Managing Director at ATAL Engineering Group from 2022 to 2024, overseeing operations in electrical and mechanical engineering across multiple countries. Carlo has extensive experience in business development, having worked as the Corporate Business Development Director for Yaskawa Environmental Energy/The Switch, where responsibilities included promoting permanent magnet generators and converters in wind power and marine applications from 2010 to 2021. Additionally, Carlo co-chaired the Technology Committee at the Independent Power Producers Forum during the same period, advocating for a transparent investment environment in Asia's power generation sector. Earlier positions include Export Sales Director at Vimar, Corporate Country Development Manager for Asia at Bonfiglioli, and various sales management roles at ABB and Ansaldo Sistemi Industriali. Carlo holds a Doctorate in Electronic Automation and an MBA from SDA Bocconi, along with a General Management Programme certification from Bologna Business School.
