Martins Stirans

Martins Stirans is a seasoned professional in the energy and electric vehicle sectors, currently serving as the Business Development Manager for Baltics at Kempower since December 2023. In addition to this role, Martins is a Board Member of Latvijas Elektroauto biedrība, promoting electric vehicle adoption in Latvia since July 2023. As a Co-Founder of Vortex Oil Engineering since April 2014, Martins has contributed to developing environmentally-friendly oil recovery technology. Previous experience includes leading the development of the "Ignitis ON" EV charging network in Latvia as Head of Development from December 2021 to June 2023, and serving as CEO at BioilBaltik from March 2019 to November 2021. Martins held the role of Chairman of the Board at the Latvian Fuel Traders Association from April 2011 to March 2018, which involved significant regulatory engagement. Earlier career positions include Logistics Manager at Mažeiku Nafta Trading House and managerial roles at Vudisona Terminals. Martins holds a Master of Science in Management from Latvian University, completed in 2006.
