Tamara Filipovic

Tamara Filipovic is an experienced educator and community organizer based in Seward, Alaska, with a commitment to fostering connections and contributing positively to the local community. Since January 2018, Tamara has served in various educational roles, including Substitute Teacher and Teaching Aide at Seward Middle School, Coastal Connections Camp Instructor, and Book Seller at Dreamland Books & Yarn store. Alongside these roles, Tamara has held leadership positions such as Founding Member of Sustainable Seward and Board Member for the Seward Community Library Association. Tamara's consultancy work with EnCompass LLC, which began in January 2024, builds on extensive experience in learning evaluation and capacity strengthening, developed through previous roles from 2010 to 2023. Tamara holds a Master's degree in International Human Resources Management from Georgetown University and a Bachelor's degree in Global History and German from Goucher College.
