Chris Wood

Chris Wood has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Starting in 2009, they co-founded Iconic Watches UK and Wood Auto, where they served as a Strategy Specialist. In 2017, they co-founded Cine Society, a luxury outdoor cinema experience in Portugal. From 2018 to 2022, they were the Founder of Sherlock, where they developed and maintained data reporting pipelines and used Python to manipulate and analyse data. Currently, they are the Head of Data at Kencko, where they are responsible for all data-related activities and ensuring alignment with the company's vision and strategies.

Chris Wood obtained a Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance from Loughborough University between 2001 and 2005. In 2021, they completed a Short Course in Politics and Economics of International Energy at Sciences Po. Chris has also obtained a number of certifications, including Applying Advanced LookML Concepts in Looker from Google Cloud Skills Boost in February 2022, Exploring Data with Looker and Understanding LookML in Looker from Google Cloud Skills Boost in January 2022, Advanced SQL for Data Science: Time Series and Advanced SQL for Data Scientists from LinkedIn in December 2021, Google Data Analytics Specialization from Google in October 2021, Applied Data Science Specialization from IBM in September 2021, Politics and Economics of International Energy from Sciences Po in September 2021, and IBM Data Science Specialization from IBM in October 2020.
