Karthik Ravindran

Karthik Ravindran has a diverse work experience in the field of industrial engineering and analytics. Karthik currently holds the position of Director of Industrial Engineering & Analytics Applications at Kenco Group since July 2023. Prior to that, they were a Senior Manager of Industrial Engineering at the same company from October 2021 to July 2023.

Before joining Kenco Group, Karthik worked at GEODIS where they held various roles. Karthik started as a Labor Management Engineer in Eastern PA and was responsible for driving labor management and process improvement initiatives. Karthik then transitioned to the role of Industrial Engineer for the NorthEast US & Canada region before becoming an Industrial Engineer for the Eastern US & Canada region. Karthik further advanced to the position of Regional Industrial Engineer II for the South region and eventually became a Senior Industrial Engineer specializing in LMS and productivity.

In addition to their roles at Kenco Group and GEODIS, Karthik also worked as an Industrial Engineer at Surya from November 2015 to January 2017, and at Hardy Machine & Design from August 2014 to November 2015. At Surya, they provided industrial engineering expertise, while at Hardy Machine & Design, they focused on manufacturing practices, cost analysis, and process improvement.

Karthik's earliest work experience was as a Graduate Assistant at the University of Houston from February 2014 to December 2014. In this role, they provided technical support, designed classroom websites, and assisted faculty members in course material development.

Prior to their Graduate Assistant role, Karthik worked as a Data Analyst Intern for Sunoco Logistics from May 2014 to August 2014. Karthik conducted root cause analysis, proposed process improvements, and analyzed various business wastes to determine the cost of waste.

With their extensive experience in industrial engineering and analytics, Karthik Ravindran has developed a strong background in driving process improvements, labor management, cost analysis, and data analysis.

Karthik Ravindran completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham from 2009 to 2013. Karthik then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Industrial Engineering at the University of Houston from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they hold certifications in Lean Six Sigma Green Belt from the University of Houston and Supply Chain Management and Logistics from iACT Global.
