Dr. Charity Embley

Dr. Charity Embley is a dedicated educator and author with diverse experience in higher education. Currently serving as faculty at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center since May 2022, Dr. Embley also authors publications for DIO Press and Kendall Hunt Publishing Company. Dr. Embley holds the position of associate faculty at The University of Texas at Permian Basin and previously served as an associate professor at Odessa College, teaching a wide range of education courses. Dr. Embley began a career in education as a science teacher at South Plains Academy before pursuing advanced degrees in Curriculum and Instruction and Biological Sciences from Texas Tech University and Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca.
