John Blazon

Vice President Sales Spire Collection at Kendall-Jackson Winery

John Blazon MS has a diverse and extensive work experience in the wine and beverage industry. John started their career as the Director of Food & Beverage at Park Terrace Hotel in Washington D.C. In 1987, they joined Ford's Colony Country Club as the Director of Food & Beverage, where they achieved accolades such as the AAA Five Diamond Award and Best of Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator.

Blazon then worked as the General Sales Manager at The Robins Cellars Wine Company in Richmond, VA. John continued their career at Walt Disney World Resort, where they held various positions, including General Manager at Victoria & Alberts and Citricos Restaurant, and later as the Wine Director. During their tenure, they obtained the title of Master Sommelier and developed a sommelier education series that set industry standards.

In 2009, they established their own consulting firm, John Blazon Wine Consulting LLC, where they provided expert insight and direction for the development of wine programs. John also served as the Vice President of Sales at Majestic Fine Wines, focusing on the Spire Collection. Most recently, they held the position of Vice President of Sales at Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates for the Spire Collection.

John Blazon MS completed a Crummer Management Certificate from Rollins College in 2004. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
