Thorsten Buettner

Thorsten Buettner is a seasoned professional in the mechanical and quality assurance sectors, currently serving as Mechanical Superintendent at Kenera since September 2022. With a longstanding tenure at Bentec GmbH Drilling & Oilfield Systems since 2008, Thorsten holds the position of Quality Assurance Inspector NDT Level III and has also served as Qualitätsprüfer ZfP Level III. Thorsten has completed multiple API-RP CAT 4 certifications while at KCA Deutag between 2013 and 2015. Prior to these roles, Thorsten worked as an Industriemechaniker at Rosink Apparate- und Anlagenbau from 1992 to 2011 after training as an Industriemechaniker at KCA Deutag from 1989 to 1992. Thorsten's educational background includes an NDT Master degree from the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Zerstörungsfreie Prüfung and qualification as an International Welding Specialist from the DVS Deutscher Verband für Schweißen.
