Doug Harman

Doug Harman is an automation manager and staff engineer at Kennametal since April 2012, where responsibilities include leading brazing engineering for earth cutting and industrial applications and managing global process improvements with a focus on automation development. Previously, Doug served as a senior engineer specializing in induction brazing and carbide material selection for mining bit applications. Prior to Kennametal, Doug worked as an R&D engineer at Metalor Technologies and AMI Doduco. Doug holds a Master of Science in Materials Science Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
