Edward McBarnet

Edward "Eddie" McBarnet is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in corporate development, strategy, and operations across various industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Development, Strategy & Growth at Kennametal since November 2021, Eddie has held multiple leadership roles within the company, including Vice President General Manager / Interim President of Metal Cutting. Prior to Kennametal, Eddie worked at Flowserve Corporation, where responsibilities included Vice President of Marketing & Technology for Seals & Pump Aftermarket. Eddie's career also includes significant positions at Schlumberger, with roles such as General Manager for the Asia Pacific Region, and military service as a Captain in Military Intelligence with the US Army. Eddie's academic background includes an MBA from Harvard Business School, a study abroad program in Islamic Studies at the University of Oxford, a BA in Arabic Language and Literature and International Relations from Washington University in St. Louis, and a summer program at Al Akhawayn University.
