Magdalena Derol

Magdalena Derol is an experienced professional in data governance and analytics, currently serving as Global Manager of Data Governance within the IT department at Kennametal since February 2012. In this role, Magdalena leads integration projects to enhance data insights and identify cost-cutting and revenue-growing opportunities. Previous positions at Kennametal include Global Customer Master Data Senior Analyst and Global Market Research Analyst, where Magdalena focused on data analysis, customer segmentation, and master data quality processes. Prior experience includes roles at Imperial Tobacco as Coordinator of the Planning Department and Production Planner, as well as a Planner at Unilever. Magdalena holds a Master’s degree in Quantity Methods in Management from Nicolaus Copernicus University and a postgraduate degree in Applied Computing from the High School of Banking in Poznań.
