Mark Long

Mark Long currently serves as the Sr. Materials Manager at Kennametal since February 2022. With extensive experience in materials management, Long held various managerial positions at Dana Incorporated from November 2011, including Materials Manager and Materials Planning Supervisor, overseeing plant material planners and ensuring timely material delivery for production. Prior to Dana, Long was Materials Manager at Grupo Antolin, and Team Support Leader for Cooper Bussmann, responsible for the global distribution of over 50,000 SKUs. Long's career began at Tower Automotive Inc., where significant achievements included managing all traffic and logistics functions and reducing annual freight spend. Long also developed expertise in implementing ERP systems, lean initiatives, and continuous improvement processes throughout multiple roles in the industry.
