Steve Richardson

Steve Richardson has a diverse work history with experience in various roles within the banking and mortgage industry. Steve is currently serving as the Director of Learning and Development at Kennebec Savings Bank since September 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Training and Development Specialist at loanDepot from April 2021 to August 2022. From May 2019 to April 2021, they held the position of Vice President of Residential Lending at Bar Harbor Bank & Trust. Before that, they worked as a Branch Manager at HarborOne Mortgage from June 2017 to December 2018. Steve'scareer also includes roles such as Assistant Vice President at Machias Savings Bank from November 2007 to May 2017, Assistant Vice President at Calais Federal Sa from August 2004 to January 2006, and Assistant Vice President at Androscoggin Bank from January 2003 to August 2004.

Steve Richardson began their education journey at the United States Air Force Law Enforcement Academy in 1986, where they obtained a Certificate in Law Enforcement. Steve then pursued further studies at the American Institute of Banking from 1992 to 1996, earning a Diploma in General Banking. In 1996, Steve attended both the New England School of Banking-Williams College and the Northern New England School of Banking, completing diplomas in Retail Banking. Most recently, in 2015, they enrolled at Fort Hays State University, where they are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Workplace Development and Training. In addition to their formal education, Steve has obtained several certifications in various topics related to learning and development, such as Creating Inclusive Learning Experiences, Creating a Culture of Learning, Practical Success Metrics in Your Training Program, and more, from LinkedIn in 2022.
