Joshua Weir

Joshua Weir is an Associate Attorney at Kennedy and Graven Chartered since April 2021, previously serving as an Assistant Attorney General in the Transportation and Public Construction Division at the Washington State Office of the Attorney General from September 2015 to April 2021. Joshua has experience as a Legal Extern at the United States District Court for the District of Oregon and as a Law Clerk in the Trial Division of the Oregon Department of Justice, where extensive legal research and drafting took place. Early in their career, Joshua engaged in environmental and criminal law through various internships and volunteer roles, including work with the Northwest Environmental Defense Center and the St. Louis County Attorney's Office. Prior to transitioning to law, Joshua held multiple positions as a Merchant Mariner while earning a J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School and a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
