Maya Reyes is an experienced staff columnist for What The F Magazine, contributing insights on the intersections of race, gender, and sexuality since September 2017. In parallel, Maya serves as a research assistant at the University of Michigan Medical School, facilitating patient recruitment for the SARA research study and authoring a recruitment manual for the SafERteens study. As a CDC Undergraduate Public Health Scholar at the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Maya engages in analysis of health disparities alongside professionals from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Johns Hopkins.
