Stephen Oppitz

Stephen Oppitz, CPA, CHFP, currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Finance and Assistant Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis at Kennedy Krieger Institute since April 2022. Prior to this role, Stephen worked as Corporate Director of Finance at University of Maryland Faculty Physicians Incorporated, overseeing strategic direction and compliance for accounting operations from October 2020 to April 2022. Stephen has also held positions as Manager of Financial Services at MedStar Health and Manager of Financial Reporting at The University of Maryland Medical System, where responsibilities included managing month-end financial close processes and ensuring adherence to accounting standards. Stephen began a career in finance at PriceWaterhouseCoopers as a Senior Associate, focusing on audits for various clients, including healthcare engagements. Stephen earned a BBA in Accounting from Loyola University Maryland in 2007.
