Eleanor Ovens is an accomplished journalist currently working at Kennedy News & Media since August 2023. Prior to this role, Eleanor served as a Senior Reporter at Newsquest from December 2018 to August 2023, focusing on The Mail and Westmorland Gazette. Eleanor's earlier experience includes participation in a Leadership Program at Newcastle University and contributing as an intern at NE LOVE LIMITED, a prominent arts and music magazine, while also contributing to New Writing North. Additional internships include a brief tenure at CFM Radio Station and a reporting role at CN Group. Eleanor holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Newcastle University and completed the NCTJ qualification in Journalism.
