Cara Gaskins has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Cara started their career as a math teacher at Cobb County School District in 1994. Cara then transitioned to roles in the software industry, starting as a Senior Support Analyst at Peachtree Software and later becoming a Network Engineer at PHD Networks Inc. In 1996, they joined LOMA as a Senior Production Coordinator.
Cara later took on various positions in different companies, including Executive Assistant / Accountant at IrwinInc, LLC / Tim Irwin / Ministry Resources Group, LLC, President / Owner / Graphic Designer at Leave The Light On Creations, and Accounting Manager at Resolute CPA. Cara also worked as an Accounting Manager at RGP Attorney Services / Saber Security and Investigations and Corkscrews and Canvas / Star Pointe Gallery.
In 2019, Cara joined Kennesaw State University as a Senior Accountant for Athletics and eventually became a Senior Accountant for Dining Services. Currently, they hold the position of Associate Director of Athletic Accounting at the university. Throughout their career, Cara has gained experience in various accounting and managerial roles.
Cara Gaskins completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a focus on Secondary Mathematics at Georgia Southern University from 1991 to 1995. Cara then pursued a Master's degree in Accounting, specializing in MAcc - Master of Accounting, from Georgia Southern University, which they will complete in 2024.
