Cynthia Perry

Cynthia Perry is an accomplished dance educator and arts journalist with extensive experience in academia and writing. Currently serving as a part-time Assistant Professor of Dance at Kennesaw State University since May 2019, Cynthia has also held roles as an Arts Journalist for outlets such as The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, ArtsATL.org, and Dance Magazine since June 2009. Previously, Cynthia worked as a Dance Editor at ArtsATL.org and has taught various dance subjects at Brenau University and Kennesaw State University. In earlier positions, Cynthia lectured on dance history and technique at The University of Oklahoma and the University of Central Oklahoma. Cynthia holds a BFA in Dance from New York University and an MFA in Dance from the University of Oklahoma, along with an MFA in Narrative Media Writing from The University of Georgia.
