Lori Lowder

Lori Lowder is an accomplished academic and administrator with extensive experience in engineering education. Currently serving as Associate Vice Provost, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, and Interim Associate Vice Provost for Student Success at Kennesaw State University since July 2015, Lori has held multiple leadership roles including Associate Dean For Academic Affairs and Interim Department Chair of Mechanical Engineering. Prior to this, Lori was an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University and an Assistant Professor of Physics and Engineering at Atlanta Metropolitan State College. Lori began career contributions as a Curriculum Specialist at iLearn, Inc. and earned a Ph.D. in Bioengineering, as well as a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
