Jennifer Manganello, PhD, MPH, currently serves as the Associate Vice Provost for Faculty Development and Professor at the University at Albany, where contributions span various roles such as Associate Dean for Public Health Practice and Research, and Experiential Education Faculty Fellow, dating back to January 2005. Manganello is also the Senior Editor for the Journal of Health Communication, a position held since January 2022. Recent fellowships include the Richard P. Nathan Public Policy Fellowship at the Rockefeller Institute of Government and participation as a LEND Trainee at the UConn Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service. Previous positions include Citizen Science Faculty at Bard College and various roles related to health communication and research at the American Public Health Association and University of Pennsylvania. Manganello holds a PhD in Public Health and an MPH in Health Services/Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and Boston University School of Public Health, respectively, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Politics from Pomona College.
