Travis Highfield, MPA, is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in editorial content management and digital storytelling. Currently serving as the Director of Editorial Content at Kennesaw State University since August 2017, Travis leads a team of nine, focusing on professional development and strategic content direction. Prior roles at Kennesaw State include Assistant Director of Digital Content & Social Media and Public Relations Specialist, where Travis played a crucial role in shaping the institution's social media strategy and developing engaging digital content. Previous experience includes freelance writing for reputable publications such as The Washington Post and The Jail Report, as well as reporting for The Augusta Chronicle. Travis holds a Master of Public Administration from Kennesaw State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Augusta University.
