David van der Kooij

David van der Kooij is an experienced professional currently serving as a Product Manager at Kennisnet since February 2024. Prior to this role, David was a Product Owner and AI Guild lead at TOPdesk from September 2016 to February 2024, where responsibilities included defining the vision for Identity Management and Authentication and collaborating with customers, stakeholders, and developers on iterative outcomes. David also held the position of Customer Solutions Engineer at TOPdesk, focusing on developing bespoke customer-oriented solutions that integrate with standard software. Before joining TOPdesk, David worked as a Trainer at CodeCult BV, teaching programming to children aged 8 to 14 and developing teaching materials. David holds a Master of Science in Information Studies with a focus on Human-Centered Multimedia and a Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence, both from the University of Amsterdam. Education was completed at Adriaan Roland Holstschool with a VWO diploma in the NT track.
