Chris Harder

Chris Harder has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Chris started their career at Spartan Bioscience in 2006, where they held multiple roles. As the R&D Manager, Chris led research and development efforts from September 2006 to June 2010. Chris then transitioned into the role of Senior Scientist, contributing to scientific advancements until September 2012. Chris was then promoted to VP Diagnostics, where they played a key role in project architecture and management for the development of the Spartan Cube, a sample-to-result PCR system. Chris also led a team in developing products and applications for the Cube. Additionally, Chris successfully led the team in developing a point-of-care genetic test, which was the first to incorporate instrumentation, swab, transport system, and assay all under design control and in one submission to the FDA. Chris remained in this position until August 2018. In 2018, Chris joined Kenota Health as the VP Product Development, and in February 2020, they were promoted to the Chief Technology Officer role.

Chris Harder completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa between 1997 and 2001. Chris later pursued a PhD in Biochemistry from the same university and completed it between 2001 and 2006.
