Director Of Care Initiatives at Kensington Church

Chris Cook currently serves as the Director of Care Initiatives at Kensington Community Church, a position held since April 1999, where leadership of volunteer ministries in Recovery and Congregational Care has been pivotal, culminating in a successful marriage initiative reaching over 800 couples. Previous roles at the church include Pastor of Community Care, focusing on pastoral counseling and sustainable care structures for a congregation of approximately 8,000 attendees, and Director of Singles Ministries, where attendance grew from a handful to over 200. Prior to their church leadership, Chris Cook worked in Manufacturing and Quality Assurance Management at DaimlerChrysler AG, where implementation of new initiatives and quality management strategies were key responsibilities. Chris Cook holds an MDiv from Michigan Theological Seminary, an MS in Systems Engineering from Oakland University, and a BS in Electrical Engineering and a BA in Liberal Arts from Michigan Technological University.
